Pillars of Islam:
“Today, I have perfected your religion for you, and have completed My blessing upon you, and chosen Islam as Din (religion and a way of life) for you”.(Surah: Al-Ma’idah, Verse: 03)
The Five Pillars of Islam Called Arkān Ul-Islām and Arkān Ul-Dīn.Islam is “Dīn”; it is more than a religion. Allah says in the Qur’an:“Truly, the (recognized) religion in the sight of Allah Al-Mighty is Islam”.
Islam is a complete way of life encompassing all facets of a Muslims existence from birth to death, As He Described in the Holy Quran:“Today, I have perfected your religion for you, and have completed My blessing upon you, and chosen Islam as Din (religion and a way of life) for you.”(Al-Ma’idah 5:3)
The Five Pillars of Islam are core beliefs that shape Muslim thought, deed, and society.The religious practice of Islam, which literally means to submit to Allah, is based on tenets that are known as the Five Pillars to which all members of the Islamic community should adhere.
Listen, the hearts find peace only in the remembrance of Allah.
(Surah: Al-Ra`d, Verse: 28)
“Read with the name of your Lord who created (every thing) ,He created man from a clot of blood.”
The Pillars of Islam consist of:
- Shahadah (Declaration)
- Salah (Prayer)
- Zakat (Alms)
- Sawm (Fasting)
- Hajj (Pilgrimage)
The Pillars of Islam are summarized in the famous hadith of Jibreel:“Islam is that you should testify that there is no deity save Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger, that you should perform salah (ritual prayer), pay the zakat (alms), fast during Ramadan, and perform Hajj (pilgrimage) to the House (the Ka’bah at Makkah), if you can find a way to it (or find the means for making the journey to it).”
“And say, :My Lord, improve me in knowledge.
